Hand thrown mug thrown in a white stoneware clay and hand hand painted in blue, pale pink and yellow. These colours are chosen as they remind me of Spring/ summer seaside visits and tartan blanket pic-nics. The term "plaid" comes from the Gaelic "plaide", meaning blanket.
 
A glossy transparent glaze is then poured inside and out.
 
Suitable for tea, coffee and other hot liquids.
