Hand thrown cup thrown in a white stoneware clay, hand painted in blue, pale pink and yellow. These colours are chosen as they remind me of Spring/ summer seaside visits and tartan blanket pic-nics. The term "plaid" comes from the Gaelic "plaide", meaning blanket.
