A soap-dish inspired and created from a rock found on the shores of the Holy Loch in Argyll, Scotland. Completely handcrafted from start to finish by myself. Each piece will vary slightly in shape and where glaze is applied making the plates entirely unique. The soap-dish is glazed in either a celedon and transparent glaze on a white clay, this glaze can pool on the inside of the bowl leaving a deep green or burnt orange colour. Or you can have it in a Matte white glaze on a speckled clay, this is a new addition to my soap-dishes. Both colours can be seen in the images above.
There is three holes in the soap-dish which allow water to drain through them. Each piece comes with a postcard telling a little about the process and place it is inspired by. Why not add on a handmade bar of soap by Dimwicks of Ayrshire? Check out the shop page.
